Long Course Weekend is not just a race, it\u2019s a three-day festival of sport with an atmosphere you have to experience to believe. Whether you’re new to the start line or chasing a PB, this is your chance to mix & match your perfect weekend across three classic disciplines: swim, bike, run, each offered in multiple distances to suit every level.<\/p>\n
Take on one event, combine two, or go all in with the Full Long Course, the longest distance in each sport, spread across three days. Finish all three, and you’ll earn the coveted fourth medal: a true badge of achievement.<\/p>\n
In May 2026, dsm-firmenich Long Course Weekend happens in Maastricht for its second edition in the Netherlands. Expect unforgettable finish line moments, an electric atmosphere, and a format built for fun, flexibility, and pushing your personal limits.<\/p>\n

The Peaks Maastricht Swim: 1.9 km or 3.8 km
\nSaturday, May 23, 2026<\/p>\n
The Maastricht Bike: 50 km, 100 km or 180 km
\nSunday, May 24, 2026<\/p>\n
The dsm-firmenich Maastricht Marathon: 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km or 42.2 km
\nYou can participate in one or more disciplines to create your own sports weekend.<\/p>\n
Additionally, you can opt for the FULL LCW (3.8 km swim, 180 km bike ride, and full marathon) or the HALF LCW (1.9 km swim, 100 km bike ride, and half marathon). If you choose one of these challenges, you will receive an exclusive XL Goodie Bag, in addition to the regular goodies. This includes items such as a cycling jersey, drybag, and a Limited Edition LCW Polo. You will also be placed in a separate ranking.<\/p>\n
Participants in the FULL challenge will also receive an additional, fourth medal.<\/p>\n

\nThere will be regular aid stations along the cycling and running courses. Water, sports drinks, snacks, and medical assistance will be available.

Changing rooms, bag drop & showers
\nBag drop and changing rooms are available at the festival area. At the swim location (Fun Valley), bag drop and showers are available.<\/p>\n
Medal Ceremony
\nEach finisher will receive a medal. Participants in the FULL Long Course Weekend are eligible for the additional fourth LCW medal, which will be awarded during a special ceremony on Sunday at 16h00.<\/p>\n

\nA distance change is possible for an administrative fee of \u20ac10; any price differences between races are not included (for an upgrade, you pay \u20ac10 + the price difference).

\nUntil March 31, it is possible to change your name free of charge by sending an email to support@lcwnetherlands.com .<\/p>\n
From April 1 onwards, a name change is still possible by email, but a \u20ac10 administrative fee will be charged.<\/p>\n
