Dear Friends,<\/p>\n
We would like to thank all of you who have responded with enthusiasm to the
\nannouncement of the first edition of the Rome 100k. The organization of the
\nevent has been much more complex than we imagined and a lot of work is still
\nunderway. For this reason and in order to guarantee the runners everything
\nthat is necessary during a 100k, we have decided to postpone the race. We
\nfeel that this will also ensure that we can offer the athletes and their
\ntravel companions a memorable weekend of running and sightseeing in one of
\nthe most beautiful cities in the world.<\/p>\n
Therefore, in accordance with the Italian Ultramarathon and Trail
\nAssociation’s (IUTA) current calendar, the first edition of the Rome 100k
\nwill take place on Saturday, April 17, 2004.<\/p>\n
The race website http:\/\/www.augusto.it\/rome100km\/rome100km.htm, where you
\ncan download the entry form and event rules, will be updated in the next few
\ndays.<\/p>\n

Cari amici,
\nringraziamo tutti coloro che hanno risposto con entusiasmo alla notizia
\ndella prima edizione della 100km di Roma.
\nGli sforzi richiesti per l’organizzazione dell’evento sono stati molto piu’
\ngrandi del previsto e molto lavoro e’ ancora in corso.
\nPer questo motivo, per garantire agli atleti tutto cio’ che e’ necessario
\ndurante una 100km a circuito, per offrire agli atleti ed ai loro
\naccompagnatori la possibilita’ di trascorrere una bella giornata di sport ed
\nun fine settimana di turismo nella citta’ piu’ bella del mondo, il cominato
\norganizzatore ha stabilito di posticipare la data dell’evento.<\/p>\n
Quindi, in accordo con la bozza del calendario IUTA (Italian Ultramarathon
\nand Trail Association) la data della prima edizione della 100km di Roma e’
\nfissata per sabato 17 aprile 2004<\/p>\n
Nei prossimi giorni verra’ aggiornato il sito
\nhttp:\/\/www.augusto.it\/rome100km\/rome100km.htm dove poter scaricare il
\nregolamento e il modulo per le iscrizioni.<\/p>\n
