The list below concerns 25 ultramarathons and trails. Apparently, the Italians love championships as no less than 8 of these events are titled National Championships ! And the list even misses the most important one: the Italian Championship 100 km road (plus the Italian Masters Championship 100 km) is held during the 100 km del Passatore, according to the website of Del Passatore ;-). In this respect it is also rather peculiar to see that the most important championship in Italy during 2004 is not mentioned in the IUTA list: the 100 km del Passatore on Friday 29 May hosts the European Championship 100 km ! This is also the European Masters Championship 100 km.<\/p>\n
