Pre entries are closed now for the 12 and 6 hours \u201cUltramarathon Cranendonck\u201d at Budel Dorplein, Netherlands. All participants as listed below will receive information \u201chow to go to Budel Dorplein\u201d by post within a few days.
\nFor 12 hours, 439 participants are listed, of which 3 did cancel (afgemeld), such that 36 participants are still on the list. At the race day entries are still possible. The race starts at 9:00 a.m. (09:00 uur).
\nFor 6 hours, 20 participants are listed, 1 did cancel (afgemeld), so 19 are still on the list for now. The 6 hour race starts at 3:00 p.m. (15:00 uur). A maximum of 20 participants can start for the 6 hours. If athletes want to participate in the 6 hour race, we can recommend to send an e-mail before to a.smeets@trouwweb.nl
\nFurthermore two realy tems wil participate the second half of our 12 hour race.<\/p>\n
For prizes a correction for age and sexe will be made according to the \u201c1999 IAU Age-Graded Tables\u201d equaliser system; i.e. a distance depending on the age group you are in will be added to your distance during 12 or 6 hours from which a different ranking is obtained. The distances to be added according to the equaliser system are given below as well.<\/p>\n
How to arrive at Budel Dorplein:
\nMost easy is to take the highway A2\/E25 (from Li\u00e8ge to Amsterdam). Between Weert and Eindhoven, take exit (uitrit) number 36 which is denoted by \u201cuitrit 36, Maarheeze, Soerendonk\u201d. At the end of the exit, take direction \u201cSoerendonk\u201d; if you come from Weert, it is the left, otherwise it is to the right. You follow the main road, passing Soerendonk and entering Budel. At the traffic lights you turn left. You leave Budel, go through Budel Schoot and enter Budel Dorplein. In Budel Dorplein you have to go to the right t a building (not large) called De Schakel.
\nThe whole route from the highway will be signed by red coloured signs having \u201cUltramarathon\u201d on it.
\nDistance from highway to the traffic lights is 5 or 6K; from traffic lights to De Schakel is another 4 or 5K.
\nYou ca get your number and latest information from 7:30 a.m. (07:30 uur) at the \u201csecretariaat\u201d which is signed by yellow directions from the running loop.
\nThe length of the loop is 1645 meters; measured by IAAF official by calibrated bicycle method.
\nFor 12 hours official 100K split times are taken; for 6 hours official marathon split times are taken.<\/p>\n
