At Winschoten we discussed how to continue the IAU European 6 hours cup. We do feel that the setup failed, unless we can see that the 6 hours increased enormously in importancy. Probably a “marque IAU hallmark” will be the label in future, which could be extended to other races; the standard IAU events, or also classics like mountain races or stage runs. For the moment, some standards for IAU standard events are most easy to give; others like mountain races, trails or stage runs need more study before anouncing such a “marque IAU hallmark”.<\/p>\n
