The KLM Cura\u00e7ao Marathon is an unique Marathon. The course is beautiful and challenging. A Winter Marathon in the tropics! 4 different distances on the road. Finish on the Beach (Party) and the traditional Pasta Party on the Beach. The idea was born when I was running in Cura\u00e7ao. At one time I wanted to run the Juliana bridge which connects Punda with Otrabanda, 56,4 meters high. Once on top of the bridge, while the sun came up, the idea arose to organize a Marathon in Cura\u00e7ao. With help from family, many friends in Curacao, sponsors and partners, the first KLM Curacao Marathon started on november 30th, 2014, AIMS\/ IAAF Certified and 1.500 enthusiastic Runners. A dream came true. Now, in the run-up to the 8th edition and supported by the many positive comments from runners in Curacao and abroad, we hope to see you also at the start in Curacao!
