etappeloop: Liberation Trail 5 dagen/300 km

Een loop in 5 dagen in 3 landen.

The Liberation Trail has the same concept as for example the Tour de France. We will finish each stage at a different location then we start that same stage. In other words, we have stages from A to B.
Most of the time we will finish at the camp site or nearby the camp site. In this way we limit the transportation time after the finish. Sometimes we will have a transportation in army vehicles from the camp site to the start of the next stage.

The Liberation Trail consists of five consecutive stages:

Saturday 11th of June: 62km in Normandy, France
Sunday 12th of June: 42km in France
Monday 13th of June: 39km in the Ardennes, Belgium
Tuesday 14th of June: 100-105km in the Netherlands
Wednesday 15th of June: 44km, around Arnhem in the Netherlands

We strive for stages with at least 80% trail underground.
More details about the stages will be announced later, when we are able to travel again to do an inspection.

We only have a time limit for the stage of 100km: 18 hours. For the other stages there is no time limit, because we run from the start to the next camp site. So, no transport is needed from the finish to the camp site.
