About the WaLe Trail
TRAIL PURE NATURE is a true trail run (5.9 km / 14 km / 23.5 km / 42 km – distances not yet confirmed ) winding through the magnificent woods of the Lipperscheid region (Bourscheid municipality / Dierkirch canton ), while avoiding paved sections as much as possible (unfortunately, it’s not possible to run entirely without them). During the race, you’ll benefit from professional timing and a unique course, all for a very reasonable price.

And LËPPSCHENT means valley, and therefore means elevation changes and breathtaking views. We offer you unique landscapes that will allow you to tackle the various sections of the course with magnificent vistas. As you’ll have gathered, the Waletrail is a trail run focused on nature and discovery.

For the d+:

42 km (1900 d+)
23.5 km (1050 d+)
14 km (760 d+)
5.9 km (200d+)

All this in a relaxed atmosphere including: a bar , light refreshments, … and musical entertainment!

You will also be able to take advantage of the lockers and after the race, showers and changing rooms.

As in previous years, a free raffle is being held for participants with some fantastic prizes. Winners must be present to claim their prizes.

Furthermore, we are also looking for volunteers. Our goal through the non-profit organization WALETRAIL is to showcase our beautiful region in a trail running spirit: good humor, solidarity, etc. If you would like to lend a hand, big or small, or even join the organization, please do not hesitate to contact us at 661 163 847.

Registration is available online until May 3rd or on-site on May 9th, subject to availability (maximum 150 places per race, 400 total) and up to 30 minutes before the start of the race. Payment is accepted by cash or Payconiq only.

If you wish to travel to Lipperscheid by public transport, it is perfectly possible. Public transport is available on site. The Michelau and Goebelsmühle train stations are nearby. The closest bus stop to the starting area is called “Lipperscheid-Ale Kiirfecht,” from where it is only a 3-minute walk to the starting area.
