The Great Escape 2.0: A New Adventure Awaits

In 2016 we organized the first Great Escape. Back then we had a 45km, an 80km and a 160km run. For many (trail)runners, it was their first encounter with ultratrails. The Escapardenne trail had just been established and was a very thankfull solution for both the race course and the race name. Over the years we had many epic editions, and also added the Walk option. And now we think it’s time for something extra…

Escape the Ordinary
Embark on an extraordinary journey through the heart of the Ardennes. The Great Escape 2.0 offers a renewed experience, combining the magnificent Escapardenne Trails with exciting new routes and distances. Our races remain “unsupported” which in general means that only Legends Trails volunteers and other participants are allowed to offer you support, but make sure to visit our FAQ page for more info.

A New Basecamp:
Our race HQ is moving to the picturesque town of Clervaux, offering a central location and a unique atmosphere.

Race Headquarters:

The race Headquarters is located at the Hall Polyvalent at 22 Route d’Eselborn, 9706 Clervaux, Luxemburg

Registration:

Registration at HQ at the Hall Polyvant in Clervaux is mandatory for all participants. There will no longer be the possibility to register at the starting point of your race. Everyone will have to take the bus to the starting point.

Starting places & times:

200km Run: La Roche-en-Ardennes (BE), Friday at 8pm
160km Walk: Houffalize (BE), Friday at 8pm
100km Run: Enscherange (LU), Saturday at 6pm
80km Walk: Heiderscheid (LU), Saturday at 6pm
Finish:

The finish for all distances will be at the Hall Polyvalent in Clervaux.
