This unique Running event is an official road race, AIMS/ IAAF certified (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) and under the supervision of the Aruban athletics federation. A Boston Qualifier. For everyone is a suitable distance available. The Marathon record is 02:48 by Mr. Juan Valencia from Colombia. The Half Marathon record is 01:15 by Mr. John Poray from the USA. At the finish awaits you a special designed bling-bling shiny Gold medal. Registration is open until we reach our limit.Each participant will receive a personalized start number, online time registration, a Prize winning Medal and a complimentary Cotton Event Shirt. The Free KLM Aruba Marathon App including Track & Trace is available at the App store or Google play. The Finisher Running Shirt & Singlet, the traditional Pasta Party and charity donation are optional during your subscription. The beautiful course will show you the best of Aruba, will take you along the from Palm Beach up to the famous California Lighthouse and Eagle Beach. One Happy Marathon
The KLM Aruba Marathon is a unique Race. 4 distances, On Sunday June 5th: start of the full Marathon at 3:15 am, the half marathon at 05:15 am, the 10K at 06:15 am and the 5K is on Saturday afternoon at 05:15pm. So everybody is able to participate and all runners “Finish on the Beach” approximately at the same time. At the beach we will have a Finish Celebration Beach party you will never forget!

The course is beautiful from eagle beach to the light house, along the coast with the sun, palm trees and nice sea breeze accompany you. The idea was born when I met some Aruba runners in Curacao and especially IBiSA had the wish to have and official AIMS certified Marathon in Aruba. The idea grow and with the support of ATA, Amsterdam Manor and many more we could bring this Idea into reality. Thank you Monique, Gachi, Tita, Patrick, Tom and Jurgen
