The Ultra by HuyForTrail is an individual race in semi-autonomy. The event takes place in a single stage, at a defined pace and within the limit of a 12-hour time barrier. Semi-autonomy is defined as the ability to be autonomous between two refueling stations, as much in terms of food as in terms of clothing and safety. Each runner must therefore have all the compulsory equipment (see point 4) at all times during the race.
Both aid stations provide drinks and food. When leaving the aid station, runners must ensure that they have enough food and drink to enable them to continue to the next aid station.
Personal assistance is tolerated exclusively at the aid stations.
In order to ensure their safety and the smooth running of the event, each participant must carry all the compulsory equipment listed below:
Bag for carrying mandatory equipment
Supplement of 1L of water minimum
Sufficient food reserve for autonomy adapted to the course
Clothing adapted to the weather conditions of the day of the event
The markup in place is in the form of an arrow drawn in white paint. The runners will have the GPX track of the course within 48 hours before the event. The organization strongly recommends bringing this trace. Any attempt at cheating will be penalized by disqualification. At road crossings: RESPECT OF THE HIGHWAY CODE is ESSENTIAL. The roads will not be closed to traffic. In order to hear the dangers of the road, it is forbidden to listen to music during the race.
Two refreshments are planned on the course. They will offer solid and liquid supplies. Only runners wearing a bib have access to the aid station.
It is the responsibility of the participants to insure themselves personally, individually. Incapacity of any kind, property damage, personal damage or damage caused to others must be the subject of personal insurance contracted by the runner with the company of his choice.
Underage joggers run under the responsibility of their parent or guardian.
The organizers are covered by a civil liability type insurance policy. These are insured for damage engaging only their own civil liability and that of its proposed.
The organizers can in no way be held responsible in the event of an accident, failure resulting from a poor state of health or insufficient preparation. The organizers decline all responsibility in the event of loss, theft or damage to personal property that may occur during the trail (parking and annexes included).
The organizer cannot be held responsible for accidents occurring during the event.
