We did have our first electronic supporter, Martien Baars, race director of that beautiful 60 and 120K race on the Dutch island Texel at Easter, send an e-mail with the task to give some support to runners. Hope that not the whole world will send e-mails, but some of them can be passed. Keep it short, because the runners have to continue there race!
Leading is still Alain Bourdon with only a small gap to Jan Vandendriessche who took over the second position after about 1 hour of the race, with Rainer Lindemann third. The Dutch runner Veron Lust is always a slow starter; he starts his race seriously after three hours. Birgit Lennarts is leading the Women’s race, followed by Anni Loestadt and Astrid Benohr who found each other after one hour.
I apologies if I make sometimes a mistake in spelling names; I believe an up to time report is most important, and the list of participants is to long to verify every name 🙂
Veron Lust heeft een groepje om zich heen gecreëerd met onder andere Paul Beckers, Philip Verdonck (beide België) en Wim Epskamp. Of moeten we stellen dat Veron zich bij dit groepje heeft gevoegd 🙂
Inmiddels valt af en toe een druppeltje uit de lucht, maar dat zet gelukkig niet echt door. De temperatuur is heerlijk en er is nauwelijks of geen wind.
