At this time of the year there is a flurry of activity as various publications prepare their fixture lists for 2003. we are no different and the IAU Fixture List will be posted on December 15th 2002 with the IAU Newsletter. Events to be included need to contact us before November 15th 2002.
I should stress that we need “postal contact addresses”for events. We are aware that many races have websites and e-mail contact details. In January 2003 we can probably list the e-mail contacts on our website if you provide it but for now our priority is the postal contact.
Sent with this is a form asking you for details of events we could include in the International Fixture List.
I should mention that the IAU is already being asked by some International Publishers for the dates of major races in 2003. Your early response will ensure that we can give the required information.
