23 hours Uden: last hour on the road

Still a small gap between Sekiya and Beckers with Van Acker third; Berces in front of Reutovich

A little less than 1 hour to go; with 45 minutes the road lap will be closed, so all athletes who enter the stadium will continue on the track for the final part of the race. Having over 150 runners still in competition it must be a wunderful image seeing all those athletes on the track, all those differences, but al without sleep during the last nigth and with almost 24 hours of running a(and walking) in their legs.

The 23 hour listings are not jet on the website of the organisation, but they soon will be. http://www.dekeien.nl

Already 60 athletes beyond 200K after 23 hours!
Sekiya is leading with 600 meter behind him (one and a half track) Paul Beckers in second position. It is hard to follow everything on the track now. Having large laps and small laps to count, no results are displayed on the big screen for the moment. Hope to tell you soon who are the first World Champions, the new European champions and the new Dutch champions.
