Sandor Barcza is running harder and harder, only Ardemagni (Ita) seems to be able to follow him. The French runner passed the 40K mark in 2:33:32 followed shortly by the Italian.
In the womans competition Monica Cassiraghi (Ita) is leading, well ahead of Sue Bruce (Gbr) and Karine Herry (Fra)
